Nine years
Nine years ago but it seems longer.
Nine year ago
I lost my grandfather.
I always called him Papa.
On June 11, 1998 the cancer got to him.
Almost nine years
later I lost my grandmother.
I always called her Nanny.
May 16th 2007
the cancer finally
got to her
and she died.
There was nine
years between my
papa and my
nanny death.
