I let a mistake

stand between us.

I let a mistake

break us up

and the mistake

got in the

way when we

try to back together.

I let a mistake

that I did

because I said

what I was

thinking and not

what I was feeling.

I let a mistake

get between us

and cause a

lot of problems

til we broke up.
