The Pain

The pain I felt was like a knife being pulled out 

I am hurting from what had been done to me. 

I thought you love me 

But I was just a stepping stone to you. 

The pain I felt was like you broke my heart 

Then step on it to get to the next one. 

I want to believe that I was wrong about you. 

You hurt me when you want to leave and broke my spirit. 

The Pain will fade but the scar of what you did will remain. 

The pain was nothing compared to what happened next. 

It was the broken promises and broken bonds that hurt more. 

You brought everything that you promise me 

And made me feel like I was a fool.
