someone stumbles
in my town
every 27 minutes
sometimes it's me
i want to slide my hand
through the sleeve of your shirt
and tickle your collar bone
on view street this morning
i gave the cat some insulin
the air was moist with forest juice
i have lunch from the new chinese restaurant
i'm dehydrated at the union depot
a woman is breast feeding her child
across from me
there have been countless videos
made of this station
people come in
with cookies and compliments
to say goodbye
they will miss me
i see so little before me
but the memory of the times
you have visited me
smiling across the counter
leaning to me for a kiss
pulling into the station
like pleasure
in a caboose
