let's go green and yellow
driving through pasture and forest
through acres of lawns with dandelions
coming to a campus with apple
and cherry trees in bloom
cooler today, but then it always is
and the sun glows more
now that i forgot my sunglasses
today the air conditioner is off
and the window is open
it is a polite, friendly breeze
it almost allows me to forget
about taking nap
to put the surreal pictures
on the back of my eyelids
to revel in the art of nature
and all those blurs of pastels
those yellow and greens
pink and white are the images
that dances me
around you
