For Print Take a seed of thought
planted in your mind
turn it in to inspiration
and with effort combined
Add a dose of courage
and a spoonful of faith
then take destiny’s ladle
and all of these conflate
Now set the dial on the oven
to the intensity you desire
the mixture of your hopes and dreams
must pass the test of fire
Timing is both your friend and enemy
for when you re-open that grate
too early will be just as disastrous
as opening it too late
