She cries everyday for the ones that got lost

Her tears made an ocean

Impossible to cross

Her tears made a river

A river of blood and pain

A river for the innocent that were taken

For the ones that got slain

I remember when she was pregnant

The happiness she felt made trees grow

Her beautiful rose colored lips

Made her face glow

Her smile, her smile was like light

Her smile made the winds blow

It made the stars come up at night

I remember when her first child was born

She cried so much that day

Her tears became a storm

When she held her son for the first time

Her heart went completely num

The tears completely dried from her face

And her eyes became the sun

Many centuries have past since

And her tears have turned to stone

Her blood has turned to dust now

And she’s force to walk this world alone

A lot of her children have long since left

Mostly taken away

Now all she feels is a pain in her chest

For the ones that were set astray

Nightmares

Nightmares of when they first came

Still haunts her to this day

She can still hear the screams in her head

Of her sons and daughters being taken away

Now

Only a shadow of a ship

Remains on her shore

Its almost like a scar in her chest

That’s impossible to cure

But leading to the ship

She see's footprints
