Sanctuary
In the midst of a warm darkness
shines a light
so dim at first sight
that one might overlook the importance
of its presence.
Easily enough bypassed
a fleck in this vast
expanse,
yet so powerful in spite
of its seemingly diminutive existence.
As time and its relation
to manifested material apparitions
runs forward and back,
one pause...
... and that tiny speck
goes
BANG
... and now
its true nature is revealed.
Heaven unfolds before
eyes that are closed
and distance and space
blend into one frame.
A thought becomes flesh
and words have no sound,
but sensations abound
are like cool flames.
Energy is.
In this holy place,
do we all unveil our true face,
the eternal flow of being.
