using my token

to ride the El

& the platform provides

my entertainment

There’s a man

screaming gospel out loud

to anyone that will listen

and some that won’t

When the train comes

I get on about 2 cars down

and think I lost him

but no such luck

he enters my car

still shouting holy words

funny because

Jesus rarely spoke

above a whisper

while this guy hollers

he keeps up the preaching

& getting in people's faces

I get off at the next stop

and to think

it’s illegal for me

to smoke marijuana
