Interpol actually

keeps a list of soccer hooligans

I think I’m on the list

for some reason

but maybe

it has to do 

with misadventures in Amsterdam

I always seem

to be 

inexplicable drawn

to English soccer hooligans

I get off the train

at Centraal Station

and it takes all of 20 minutes

to fall in with the bloody lot of them.

No explanations

No justification

The worst part:

I’m half Irish

and I’m filled with self loathing

shortly after the fact.
