Ah, infatuation
rears its ugly head
as I watch
the Lithuanian lady
exiting the train.
but I proudly broke
an old school rule
writing her phone number
on the title page
of a novel by
Aleister Crowley.
You’d think I’d know better
about Eastern European women
and writing in books by now
but I didn’t have any other paper
and somehow
it seems different this time around.
