Zombie shows
seem to get
all the ratings these days.
I guess it makes sense.
We all tend to like
viewing our own kind
on the tube.
We see this every day
though we ain’t always
honest enough to acknowledge.
We get up and go to work;
go to the grocery store;
run down to the beach;
venture off to the pub.
They’re among our family,
friends and co-workers.
People that are already dead
but don’t know enough
to finally keel over.
