At war with myself,

Broken, bruised,

Dismantled,

You reconstruct me.

 

Life throws me

Off its cliff,

No matter how I shatter,

You solve the puzzle.

 

When I falter,

You catch me,

When doubt overcomes,

You offer confidence.

 

You are my keeper,

And I would be lost

if ever you should

disappear.

 

You do this

At any cost

to save me,

for my life;

my existence.

 

You sustain me,

Keep my sanity,

Hide me 

from my demons.

 

With you,

The world can never

capture me, crush me,

deconstruct, break, destroy;

Nothing can harm me

for long, but

 

Don't forget

to let me

save

you too.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

Done as part of a Project for Ha Jin's Waiting. This is the aspect of love where each individual cares for the other and does not expect any sort of repayment.  Sometimes one person is stronger than the other, but in an ideal relationship both parties can rely on each other. In respect to Waiting, this is much like the way Lin and Manna protected and supported each other through their trying times. This is also in a way like how Shuyu and Lin end up, as he had always provided for her and at the end she is glad to have him come back regardless of what he's done and how long she has to wait.
