Old Unrefined Material Let the tides of time continue on,
Let the weather change this planet,
Let my soul be free of such wordly places,
Let all that have forsaken me, forget me.
Torment that tears my soul,
Those who gained my trust,
Living within me,
Only to forsake me.
Complexity in simplicity, let me be,
The actions I produce,
A dark cloud to the ruling amount,
Leave me to drown.
Anger, Angst, Hate, Love,
Make me feel, make me twist,
Hurt me, love me, hate me, care for me,
Do to the forsaken, hearts removed.
Live, let me die, let go,
Gain friendship, live with it,
Let me die, with sorrow,
Let go of me, the forsaken.
Those who have forsaken my soul,
I do not remove sympathy,
But live,
For unbroken trust.
Never let go.

We haven't "talked" in a while....saw this poem and thought I would comment on it. I liked the thoughts that went into this one. A true comment on friendship and loyalty...and I particularly liked the part about "for all those who have forsaken my soul,let it be known that I have not forsaken them." Great line.
