Instead I hold you in

To drift into thin air
To escape my every thought
Every move i make consists of you
Every breath I take, i feel you
The pain deems to be unbearable
Yet, here you continue to lay
Beneath me, all around me
Swallowing my soul
Chewing slowly with each bite
As the pain consumes me
And I am left with nothing
