Hurricane
Letting go of you is like letting go of a hurricane
The rains, they come in ever so slowly
Then hit suddenly like your fists into walls
I am puzzled by the calm that is inside
But the calm cannot remain forever
As the walls I broke through close in
Back into the spiraling winds I am thrown
And as the clouds break and I am free
I am left in confusion and wonderment
Turns into feelings of utter despair
What was once thrilling leaves me raw
The pain so deep I feel my heart beat through my chest
