Took some time to myself

I can't wait for the sunrise

To raise the shadows from my eyes

I look into the stars

Wish I could be out there

Instead

Of standing here

     alone

I need someone to talk to

Someone to tell me it will

Morning will come

The sun sets in the horizon

Birds cry out in despair

But no one can hear them

Just the gentle wind

It holds me and it haunts me

I'll wait until the morning

To chase away the memories

Of my life

But I can't wait until

I see your face

In these stars

Again
