Haze of smoke
In the distance of my sight you lie,
Tears behind these eye's I hide,
Lost in a daze pretending I'm fine,
A small cluttered room my sanctuary,
Thoughts disappear in a haze of cigarette smoke,
Falling into a never ending black hole I begin to choke,
Struggling to breath the air it self is suffocating me,
Heart beat speeds up rapidly,
So many words spoken, none to make sense,
Feigning for your touch that now seems forbidden,
Turn back time all is forgiven,
Looking in your eye's I wonder what you hide,
Wanting to disappear and say good-bye,
You make him understand and leave me with so many unanswered questions,
Body grows numb with every drink,
Silence as my fists hit the sink,
Thoughts disappear in a haze of cigarette smoke,
