Tonight I swam again
And did a little more floating
In the sky there passed a plane
And I thought of self promoting

Going to quit that fucking job already!
I need to keep at MY work steady.
Not painting & creating some rip off shit for the masses
In order to keep teaching their sucky classes.

I want to do things at my own pace, 
making money and saving face.
Do it on the boat, everyone loves it there
Free to paint, sculpt in the open air.

The moon was exactly half tonight
I watched it through the gum ball tree
I wondered when the Mosquitos were going to bite
And if everyone was really going to let me be

As soon as that thought entered my mind
My little one called out for me
Said, "Mom you have to try this!"
Chocolate covered orange jelly beans! Pure bliss!

Then he ran back inside
I swam a few laps and did some jumping jacks
Inhaled, exhaled, let out a few sighs
Grabbed my towel, headed inside to close my eyes.
