Witness
We can see more horrors than ever before
I wonder if its important to witness
Or better to ignore
To ignore is to choose your own problems
And I'm sure I will ignore many more
The life of a witness is to appreciate
Every second safe is a haven
So here I am witnessing the horrors
Many others only choose to be told
Safety Measured In Seconds
To see the horrors, to end them,
to damage the psyche inside them
or fail to anticipate and lose
security by blindness or select
the terrible to perceive.. Sounds
