Not my Life
this is my life, but i do not run it.
i do not control what happens in it.
and i cannot decide how the world will perceive me.
It's not my choice on who my parents are.
What I was born into.
and how my future will look.
God has control.
He may bring pain, and suffering, and what we think is unfair,
But under that is His love, understanding, and directing hand.
The life i live is never mine.
He has control over me.
Where he calls I go.
And where he leads i will never cease to follow.
For God knows my heart,even though He leads me to places that may cause hurt.
But for that I am glad because it will give me strength.
The strength to someday lead more to Him.
