I've found what I've been looking for

what I have been missing

and for the first I am excited to breathe

and I feel like I am living

my hands are raised up high

and my voice cries halleluiah

I cry out to my wonderful savior

for he is king and he is the messiah

my sin no longer has a hold on me

Jesus died to wash my sins away

as a sacrafice, a lamb that was slayed

a burden has been lifted off my back tonight

I have become his, a child of the light



he has painted a smile on my face

a smile that the world can't wipe away

cause now my life has meaning

and I have a reason to get out of bed each day

I can now see everything clearly

cause I am looking with my heart instead of my eyes

and now I am facing the real truth

instead of hiding behind my lies
