When I close my eyes

2007 my tears mingle with the rain
so that no one can see my pain
when I look around all that I see
is darkness that is all around me
when I close my eyes darkness is there
and when I open my eyes darkness is everywhere
I become one with the darkness again
because darkness is becoming less of a friend
what can I do to appease the darkness of the night?
why is it that no matter where I go there is never any light?
the darkness is consuming me inside my skin
and I don't know what I did to let this darkness in
