Ode to My Cup of Tea

Ahh. God that’s good. Hm; perhaps more sugar.
Looks like the Amazon, with a cougar
Prowling in the treetops.
Perhaps the river is
The tea, they share this brown though I cannot
Say I have ever been. No I dare not,
But I do dare to drink this tea,
Let it hydrate and nourish me,
And as the Amazon flows to the Atlantic,
This tea flows into my body oh so frantic.

Ahh. Good though. Good, but I would say
It’s running out, as is our day.
And Time and Tea flow congenitally,
Both taking and receiving equally.
