If every points the center
moving away from me
then whats the purpose after all?
and who are we supposed to be
I believe in something different
because I believe in soul
and I believe in afterlife
maybe different from your own
and I believe in time travel and the
bending shape of light
and all the stars are different souls
spinning in the night
I believe love is the focal point
pushing me along.... and I believe in all her beauty
and the power of a song....
art and music move me... feel the pressure in my veins
helps me live and love and learn... and
dealing with the pain...
and I believe in you...
in the goodness
of your light....
open up to me my love...
why not
start tonight?
I believe..... is it clear enough for you?
I believe in both of us...
and what we were supposed to do.....
This is a very beautiful and moving piece. It gives a positive message and leaves you with an extreme surge of hope. For love...for the future. Very nice.
I can see that I'm running out of ways to tell you what a great writer you are, but I'll continue nonetheless. You make your work effortless to read. Not just by the style and rhythm, but with the simplicity of your message. I like that your work is not so vague that I am unable to appreciate it. I am a little jealous; I feel forced to admit it. I occasionally have thought as eloquent as yours seem to be, but I have never exactly been a master of articulation. You give me hope as you rob me of it.
It's nice to read a sincere piece of poetry that makes sense and runs together logically and emotionally to the very end. So many poets here use obscenities to shock, when smooth and gentle words like yours invite us to continue in pleasure. Thanks for your perspective on life, it takes courage to express that, you know. Nanook
Fernis, Hi! How are you? I am a first time reader. I like your writing. Very nice. Very passionate. I will definately read more. Take care. Teresa Jacobs
