Before we began

Your were blinded by light

I just knew we weren't right



And I tried to say

Tried to make you listen

Tried to make you see

That there are some things

Like we're not meant to be



All you did was

Shoot them all down

You were so naive

The world was so round

You got into everything

With an enthusiastic bound



I tried to tell you

I really opened up

But you still couldn't get it

I told you my best kept secrets



Yet you still didn't see

It was like you were completely obsessed with me

All you really wanted was to be with me



Now its all turned to shit

You wont take blame, not one bit

You just think that all you ever did was right

But you were the one that held me back

You didn't let me lift a finger

Then you'd moan

Then you never changed your behaviour



So if you expect things to change

Sometimes that change needs to be from within

Until you can see and accept that then nothing moves along



All I get is all your anger

Your frustration and your silence

You tell me nothing but I know thats lies

Theres something troubling

Thats large in size



Until you pluck up the courage to tell me

I think that there's something that you should not be held by

Wishing away hours

Pleading to die

Thinkning that there will never be another try
