it was a sad bittersweet end

when i suddenly losy my brain cancered friend

it turns out poor brett

was just poor

and he told over 30 bands about his cancer before

it was all a scam

he had just showed me someone else's brain scan

but it's ok, brett

yea, it's ok, brett

you may have taken me for a ride

but you gave me my best song about cancer yet

so now you'll be known across the nation

as the guy who started the fake-a-wish foundation

i cured one case of cancer will be my acclamation
