My White Pony

Here it is, my wicked and proud.

Ego laid up for the year and left without pride.

I'll live in spite for a few more moons and then we'll know.

Always meant to take this slow, just for show, now please shut up and go.

And we learned..

As we aged..

We learned nothing..

Now we get left out in the cold.

Through the burnt cigarettes hanging from blue lips I saw an image.

It was an imperfect blemish from busted up bottles abused in pursuit.

Searching, forever scavenging shards of romance and soaked in tears.

I'll hide here in my shame to make up the years you wasted; the love I tasted.

And we learned..

As we aged..

We learned nothing..

Now we get left out with the old.

Do you see it now? The tide is making you less sad as it washes away; a brand new day.

Turning with a wind at my back, something caused this needle to fall from the track. Here it is now call it quits and get something together that sticks so that you can forget. Me and everyone that is the blood in my veins, god damn I hate when it rains.

This is so simple now and don't you ever neglect to be informed that I am your biggest regret.

And we learned..

As we aged..

We learned nothing..

Now we get left out and sold.

And we learned..

As we aged..

We learned nothing..

Cold, old and sold..

Just so you know..
