petals falling down the drain

moisture stagnant all this rain

light shines down and shadows play

caution beckons come this way



the pathway to the awe of understanding

everything is blocked

illumined doorways flicker till

all around goes black

curling tendrils seek you out

they touch your voicebox, please don't shout



just be calm

like the morning

like the ocean

just sigh..

be cool

for they'll hear you

and they'll scare you
