Summer's air has come and gone deep within my soul

I felt the ups and downs and have taken all the tolls

I have had my share of pains that lie inside my heart

But thinking of all that could be makes it not so hard

The fragrance smelt within a rose makes me feel it's all so clear

To sit and wait for a love to come and meet me here

I have yet to see what comes upon my lonely window's sill

And hopes and dreams of all these things give me quite a thrill

Suns have set and holidays spent where I am all alone

Sinking deep inside myself in a place I never known

Skies turned to grey and everyday I laid here in all in tears

Staring across the sky at night wishing a star would appear

To my surprise my eyes had dried and friends became my savior

For they did not want me to be in that behavior

I still don't know which way to go when love feels so far away

I can only wish it will exist somehow and someday
