She walked this earth from above the ground.

Her love as wide as many skies

Blue skies, God’s blue skies.

And all the angels heard the sound.

Of the time this angel was to fly

In God’s blue skies



And all I ask is why, this angel had to fly, why do stars cover her angel eyes

Put my head up toward the sky, I want to see those angel eyes, but she sings to me inside.



Ever since she went away, nothing has been the same; without her

We’re all without her

They say that angels never die, so my friends, I know she’ll live forever

I cry and cry and always ask why she had to go away. I need to hear her angel voice. I need to see her face. Make the stars fall from the sky, so I can see her angel eyes. Their calling out to me, their calling out to me
