Now here I stand in the morning sunshine
Dreaming only of the promised land
To be swept away by the ocean
And kept safe in God's hand
In my dreams, I've seen people there
Exchanging words of love and care
They see me and greet with smiles
Like God has just found a new child
One day, someday
you’ll surely find us sailing away
Where the sunset and the ocean meet
Together we can be complete
With him
God's hand rocks the cradle
Wrapped within the song of the trees
Rain will fall on our troubles
sinking down all those sad memories
In sight of forever across the midnight
We will wait forever, just to see the light
That will take us to the promised land
