Chapter Three
Oh how deep she dug me
She moved Earth and created the grave for me to fall in
To recap
I graduated top of my high school class
Well second, but that’s at the top
Fell in love with a sweetheart whom first embraced me
She was there when LaSalle sent me letter
“You goin to college and I’ll be talking white”
Sad thinking correct English is only identified with those
From the caucus mountains
The life I had known was soon to be erased
She came so close to erasing those dreams
When she told me
She was one with another from another
And to think I was to make her my bride
Combined with house-hold filled with saturated ignorance
Forced to the point where my maker would hold me
Or cast me away
Yes this day was to be last
Yet, the “Unexpected Assassin” missed his mark
No train arrived to carve up the suicidal turkey
I never looked back.
I decide to fight the famine decimating my existence
Since dreams of the future had once fed me
I’ll dismiss any obstacle as if it was Satan himself before me
No one has made it this far before me
September 1990 started a new chapter in history
The college years
End Chapter 3
Opening the book to me is so raw that all you have to do is read and you clearly understand where eyeq is taking you.
In chapter one I feel the energy of a writer born and you clearly get the abortion factor and you see the struggle. Chapter 2 was a precursor to chapter three. the defining of eyeq. his talent I say is so raw because rarely do you get to see the outpouring of a man destined to be great! as long as you keep giving it I will be a fan.
