Crying at Your Feet
As I sit here wandering what to do
I see you standing at the door.
Hearing the knock I know it's you,
but I just can't bring myself to see
that you are here for me.
Later on I see that you're still there
waiting for the time when it's right.
Knowing myself that without you.
I couldn't last the whole night.
How far will I go?
How long will I wait?
To see you waiting for me
at my front gate.
As each day passes
I see you're still there
waiting for me
to give my soul to bare.
Without you in my life
I cannot be complete,
so I'm kneeling here before you
crying at your feet.
As I go through my life I see
the way you look, and how you died for me.
As I walk up to the door I wonder
will you still be there?
Or would I be right to say
that you never cared?

each and every day.
How far will I go?
