Here I am,
walking on this road called life.
Strolling along,
walking with you all day and night.
Wandering,
where will I go, what will I do, and is it right?
How do I know
if I'll be alright?
The truth is here.
I see it in your eyes,
but how do I
find it through all the lies?
I know the answer,
but I cannot believe it.
It's so obvious,
but who could concieve it...
Why do I care what you think of me?
I am who I am can't you see?
No matter what you say,
I'm gonna go my own way
cause that is who I am!
Who are you
to tell me what to believe?
Why do you
try to make me see?
Nobody
cares about you or me,
So why do I
care what you think of me?!
We are who we are why can't you see?
No matter what they say,
I'm gonna speak what I feel
cause that is who I am!
Where did we
get one these separate paths?
When did we
split apart at last?
I don't know
what to say or do anymore.
The Lord is here,
knocking on My door...
Saying I am who I am why can't you see?
No matter what they say,
please don't ignore me!

Knocking on your door,
so please answer me!

I see you now
as you're waiting for me
to follow you
on this path that I see.
Seeing now
that you died for me.....!

and I was too blind to see
who you were
when you were here to comfort me.
I see you now,
in all of your glory!
Can I come
to heaven and end all worry?
You forgave,
the mistakes that I made.
Now I believe
that you're the light, the truth, and the way!
I'm not blind
anymore to the hope of your day!!!
