The sound of your voice...

It brings me out of that place in my head

where i don't have a choice,

but I'm reminded that I am alive again.

The look in your eyes...

It tells me that I'm safe in your arms,

where I have begun to find my voice,

and I'm reminded that I'm free from harm.

Because you saved me...from...myself

You saved me from myself.

You gave me a voice that I've never before had.

You stood by my side when I was all I thought I had.

You saved me.

The touch of your hand...

It tells me that you care once more,

in a way that nobody else might see,

and none of them ever have before...
