There comes a time in this life

when people say to let go

When the days have turned to months,

and with every one there's even less hope...

But what they don't seem to know...

is that I wanted...to be your Superman

I wanted to sweep you off your feet,

and I wanted to say something right now.

I still wanna be...the one you need

There's not a day that goes by

Where I still don't think of you

And what we could've been 

If things had worked out differently

It could still be you and me...

Its on my mind everyday

There is nothing else that controls me this way

The love I still feel is burning bright on the inside

It wants to come on out...not to hide...

Can you hear me? Then tell me!

Tell me if I can be your Superman!
