It's never easy to lose anything but your way.

Leaving your past behind to face another day

means you don't have to be bittersweet.

Somewhere along the way we lost you and me.

There's nothing left to say when you don't love me anymore,

and nothing else can heal the pain, so I'm letting go.

I've been down so many roads in this life that I don't know who I am.

This time I'm going back to where I need to be.

So many things I gave up for something I can't have

because someone here was too blind to see...

It's never easy to give up anything, but what else can I say?

I'm leaving you behind to find another way.

I never wanted things to be bittersweet,

but somewhere along the way you gave up on you and me.

I'm moving on,

because all you did was make my broken road run off course.

What might have been is turning in to what never was.

This road I walk down means I'm going home.
