Tattered Pride

Beautiful, radiant light; drown out these dreams tonight

I'm laying here with tears and a now decaying pride.

Rock back and forth, run hands roughly through my hair

Looking at my own reflection with a now dead stare.

Eyes used to be so full of life, they now hold no light

Such a desprate face gazing at me with such fright.

How could I really live with all they've really done

It's always in my skin, it's beginning to boil in my blood.

This pain has begun to feed on whats left of me

Not leaving a trace of hope for me to continue being.

If I shout, nobody will be there to even hear

If I cry out, I'll live within that digusting fear.

Dim, lost light; drown out these dreams tonight.

I'm laying here with tears and a tattered pride.

Rock back and forth, run hands down my skin

Inhale a sharp and devestating sensation from within.
