Not One Word

The clouds blow by
My smile fades with a sigh
I didn't wanna cry
But you made my want to die

You toothy smile
As we walk down the aisle
Our love seems to grow with every mile.
You had a clean file.
But no one told me you were a professional
When it came to being a criminal.
The ones that break hearts.
With such an ease.
You didn't even freeze.

Not one word
My eyes grew blurred,
Not one word
Came out sounding right.
You don't want me?
How could that be?
You've held me close for so long.
Almost 7 months my heart sang a new song.

The clouds were dark
I knew this would leave a mark.
You couldn't leave me?
You promised to love  me.
I didn't want to believe.
Because i knew it would make me grieve.

The wind began to hollow
A song so foul.
The cries of the wind,
Marked the fact that you had sinned.
The tears lined my face
What happen to your kind grace?
It seems to have disappeared without a trace.

Written on my hand your number,
For I could never remember.
The maker bleeds along the lines of my skin.
As my heart sinks within.
The rain pouring from the sky.
Like my life dropping from up high.
It all began with one little lie.

Not one word you spoke to me,
Came out right, nor shall it ever be.
I wish that i would never again see,
Anything like this tragedy.
