myriad vicissitudes malign viciously mine endeavor,
egregiously presumptive, reads an ill-receiv'ed letter,
"To whom it may concern, we regretfully inform..."
delayed was my request concerning respite from the storm;
"ask it shall be given," i have asked for a reprieve,
yet all the Lord's provision leaves me longing for relief,
tribulation vaunting through my pleading desperate cries,
my adversary daunting, spews malignant, vulgar lies;
convicted me the Lord, with a righteous admonition,
repented me, restored, through my prayerful heart's contrition;
a messenger, an Angel, deployed from Heaven's throne,
arrived in fiery garment to claim me as His own;
timely luminescence pierced the veil of night and dread,
to illuminate the darkness and raise me from the dead!
