When I am sad

you are their to make me bright

When I'm feeling dark

you give me light

When I'm lonely

you are their to shine

And give hope to my eyes,

I am a child of the day,

your fire gives me warmth

When I'm down you bring 

me up 

When all the kryptonite

has made me tired

Your light gives me fire 

in my soul again
