Ancient temples

long forgotten in the sands of time

Black monoliths of mystery

they tower over the land

Secrets within,

tombs of undead men,

Locked away for thousands

of years

Yet to be desecrated

for their knowledge

These deathtraps for the 

curious,

For those who would dare

venture inside

and steal away their 

history, not on record;

Instead they remain the question

marks they are,

only to strike up theories

as to their origin

But never to provide any answers

to the astonished eyes

Who gaze upon these unatural structures.
