Once upon a time

   in the history of man(un)kind

   during an eclipse of Light Divine 

   one person looked down on another

   through supercilious eyes

Hence equality was lost

Mustn't one have been feeling so lowly

   for the other to feel so lofty

Wishful to stretch back into the tome

   to stop the split that would last for millenia

   and be the cause of so much suffering
