To answer the age old question, why are we here?
You've traveled through the states to make the reason clear
You know of course the past holds nothing, but distant lost lies
But while the future has yet to come the present soon subsides
The truth is nearer to you than you may ever know
It sprinkles on you like morning dew or a midnight winter's snow
You must open your mind and educate the acres of your land
Travel through the frigid mountains and through the desert sand
Across the flowing river that runs through the forest green and tall
Where you will see the open skies in the seasons of spring and fall
You're almost there just a little furthur past the dangerous rocky path
And across the ocean and the seas where you will feel their wrath
One last obstacle you have to pass is extreme and soon to come
There's no way else to get around it so you had better run
You've done it all, you've made it through the agonizing pain
You have defeated all the weather including snow and rain
And now you come face to face with that which you have seeked
You finally have come to this, but now your body's weak
Open the door to your imagination the truth is just beyond
You walk across the marble floor, you spot an indoor pond
Turn the knob to the door when you have come to see
That you have traveled all this way, but you forgot the key
