The rear of the hall has been torn away
Its path is steps misplaced
Walking on I've passed the day
Knowing I've been disgraced
A hollow man acts not upon
A purpose or free will
I ask of him where have you gone
In silence he is still
The cool breeze provided here
Comes to rest upon my back
The peripheral no longer clear
Its perspective that I lack
Ghosts now fill my waking vision
I turn to reality in dreams
I must now make my decision
Not an easy one it seems
To walk this earth as haunted
And wondering how or when
I'll die the death I've always wanted
And shuffle the cards again
As those bitter chimes ring
I won't feel a thing
