Just a young man

Still searchin for forgivness

For the things I've done

While taking care of buisness



Cause this life ain't easy

And this world will push you to a sin

Just trying to find a way out

Of the shit that I'm always in



So dear Lord show mercy

On your lost child

When rest of the world has gone wild



Someone said in your love  

I would finaly find my peace

The divine light that has come

To make the darkness cease



They told me in your word

I could finaly stop the pain

Struggle is the way it is

The way it was, the way it has to be

But I never doubt in the thought

That my Lord would look out for me



He told me great men

Are built in the heart of fire

And that these hatas never cease

To test the strength of my desire

Always kept my faith

Cause I knew that I would eventualy

Come find my place



Right next to the great men

That came before me

The darkness lifted from my eyes

So now my eyes can see
