Time after time,

Life after life,

Nothing ever seems to change,



Breath after breath,

Beat after beat,

Nothing ever seems to be real,



Shot after shot,

Drink after drink,

Nothing ever seems to dull the pain,



No one left to pick me up,

No one there to tell me it'll be alright,

Only solitude, only remorse,

Nothing but vacant, bitter memories,



A time where family and friends were there,

But now all of that is gone,

Suppressed by thoughts of pain and grief,

Nothing left but this bridge and fall,



Sometimes I wish that this nightmare would end

but now I see this world

I see the darkness I've never noticed,

I see the we all endure,



Time after time,

Nothing ever seems to go away.
