I'm not a perfect person,

Doesn't anyone realize,

I make the same mistakes,

Falling forever down,



Holding on to you,

I realize it's time to let it go,

I'm slipping from this grasp,

Falling forever down this empty hole,



When I still see your perfect smile,

Remembering what we've said,

Reminding me of what we've done,

And now there's only one thing to say,



Everything I've done was for you,

You mean so much to me,

Yet you don't even know,

All I have to say before I go,



I want you by me always,

I need you by my side,

I love you more each passing day,

I never want to let you go,



I'm not a perfect person,

Don't you see I need you so?

Happiness is what I want for you,

Even if it's not with me,



So I will let you go,

May your path lead to me again,

If not I will be here,

Cheering you on,

For the reason of love,

For the reason of my soul,

The sacrifice for you.
