burn down the bridges,
destroy the ports,
kill the optimist,
dead bolt the door, make them forts,
compromise a failure,
this battle will bleed us dry,
all this for a senator,
deaths are great, hear my cry,
life is just,
death is merciless,
angel and demons, born from rust,
weapons for their eternal battle,
chaos and resurrection, never ending story,
good and evil, continuously at each other,
wanting nothing but glory,
disgust runs through me quicker,
innocents damned from this war,
killed for fun, used as meat shields,
sides formed from spiritual strength of far,
battle raged from cities to fields,
world so desolate and burning,
no inhabitants left to lead,
remains of those who were left yearning,
ground left cracked and red.
